Ontology-based Comparative Study between Vocational College Libraries and University Libraries

Higher vocational college libraries have long been built following the same solution of university libraries regardless of their own characteristics. This leads to low efficiency for investment to the library because there are so many differences between the vocational collage library and the university library that the solution cannot work in the vocational collage library as well as in the university library. Therefore, an ontology model of library is used in studying the vocational collage library and the university library comparatively. Through the comparison, it is clear to see that the idea of investment to the library should meet the characteristics and demands of the main student reader group in the vocational collage and focus on the quality education.
