Comparative Research on the Construction of Knowledge Base Between Chinese Academy of Sciences and Institution of Higher Education

A research is conducted by means of literature reviewing, website monitoring and data analyzing on the comparison of the construction of knowledge base between China Science Academy and Institution of Higher Education in terms of the construction motivation and objective idea, construction strategy and promotion measures, and construction process and operating state, based on which a conclusion is reached concerning the characteristics and experiences of the construction of knowledge base of the two systems, and suggestion is put forward for the two systems to cooperate with each other, to construct and develop China's comprehensive knowledge base web and to promote the systematic construction of knowledge base from a state level.
