Research on Linked Network Structure of Collection Metadata:Oriented the Perspective of FRBR Model Deconstruction

Through an in-depth analysis about the these three basic elements: entities, attributes and relationships in the concept model structure of FRBR("Functional Requirements of Bibliographic Records"),the paper explores the elements of library resource metadata associated network which is extracted by FRBR model. Then the paper classifies relational network structure which is constituted by collection resources metadata knowledge nodes conforming to the FRBR and relationships. The classification forms a micro level associated network supported by a metadata record attributes and a macro level associated network supported by the relationship between metadata records or between the standard data set. Establishment of library resource metadata associated network has important value in revealing the internal knowledge structure of library resources, expanding the scope of knowledge retrieval, recommending related knowledge and auxiliary knowledge discovery.
