Construction and Application of Patent Index System for Industrial Competitiveness Assessment

The paper points out that the application of patent index can reflect the industry competitiveness objectively, reliably and comprehensively, and optimize current related evaluating theories and systems of industry competitiveness. Then from promoting the integration of patent index research and competitiveness evaluation, it constructs a patent index system for industry competitiveness evaluation from 6 aspects of industrial input, output, technique level and its development, environment, market control and development trend. Finally, this paper states the analysis process and methods in practical application, and announcements for flexibly applying it.
