Research of Knowledge Connection Measurement for Knowledge Service Platforms

Knowledge service platforms are taken as the scope of research in order to propose an operable approach to measure knowledge connection degree. An index p could be defined by calculating the species, numbers and values of the knowledge connection. The average value of p, which is the whole page content of the knowledge service platform, could be used to evaluate the knowledge connection degree of the knowledge service platform. This paper adopts mathematical weight method and principal component analysis to measure the degree index of knowledge connection. Two comparatively mature knowledge service platforms are used as a case study to measure and compare the degree of knowledge service platform and offer optimization suggestions for the weaker relations service platform.
