Significance and Function of the Augment Reality Technology for the Library

Abstract

[Purpose/significance] On the basis of the existing research results, the authors combine the AR technology and the library services elements to explore the correlation between them. [Method/process] Through the case analysis, the authors discuss the function of AR technology and its ability especially involving the literature, space, reading, experience and exhibition which can elevate the libraries services. [Result/conclusion] The augmented reality can assist libraries in fully developing the above-mentioned potential efficacy and accelerating the "Ecological Cycle" among these elements, and some new benefits and value will derive from the cycle, which can elevate the service level and reinforce users' satisfaction of library services.
