Construction of Digital Reference Integrated Service

[Purpose/significance] Digital reference integrated service in digital library is constructed, which effectively solves the problems of decentralized service scene, complication of operated process and disjointed research process.[Method/process] Propose a method of building integrated reference service model of digital library, utilizing information technologies of RED5, Flex RIA and Java, design and implement integrated services based on Real-Time Reference, Instant Message, Alert Service, Statistics Evaluation Service and Open API.[Result/conclusion] Reference Service of National Science Library CAS has been constructed, which provides efficient, steady and good experience services for users of CAS and Society, and this integrated model also supports fusion integration and interoperability between reference service and other related information services.
