Design and Implementation of Information Service Platform Embedded into the Subject Service Process

[Purpose/significance]By combining subject information service tools with various information discovery, organization, tracking and use, a subject information service platform suitable for the third grade colleges was built. It is helpful for the college students to grasp the method of obtaining and using information quickly.[Method/process]By designing an information platform of multiple service functions which has the personalization, analysis functional reorganization, open integration and knowledge discovery and utilization, subject information service platform supported by basic resource, resource guide and information service tools for students was implemented at Chang'an College of Xidian University.[Result/conclusion]By the application of the multiple tools of information services, an information service platform embedded subject service for students was built. It is helpful for the college students to promote their information ability and sensitivity to the subject information.
