Abstract

[Purpose/significance]To give university decision makers an acquaintance of discipline development, let them know the advantages and disadvantages of discipline for the connotation of the discipline construction and let libraries to master the data of discipline construction for the discipline and resource construction, we design an information platform.[Method/process]Adopting Pentaho BI platform, utilizing the integrated tool of Pentaho BI to collect and analyze the system data from the administrative departments, by means of Dataverse Network platform to collect and analyze the research data from the researchers, design an information platform.[Result/conclusion]As the literature and information center of the university, university library is an important part of teaching work and research work, so it should play an active role in designing the university data platform for discipline construction, and play an important role in the collection and management of research data.
