Field Application of Wearable Computer Devices and the Impact on Information Services

[Purpose/significance] The wearable computer device is an information gathering tool and a way of information services. Study on its latest field application and impact on information service, could help to extend its service form, optimize service experience and improve service level. [Method/process] The paper first introduced the current development of wearable computer devices, systematically reviewed related concepts, technology and application of wearable computer devices, and emphatically researched its field application. Paper analyzed the shortage of the current information service models, and then proposed information services models embedded in wearable computer devices. [Result/conclusion] This paper analyzed the information service mechanism of wearable devices, discussed the information service modes and service scenarios in details, and concluded the impact of wearable devices on information services.
