Abstract

[Purpose/significance] Mobile visual search can effectively help users from vast amounts of visual data such as text, images and video, to quickly find their interest in the information systems research, enrich and deepen the theory of digital library information retrieval and information services.[Method/process] The mobile digital library application requirements and the manifestation of visual search is introduced, then the mobile visual search and the importance of the research process is discussed. Finally its application in digital library situation of mobile digital library visual search mechanism connotation, classification and architecture design is analyzed. [Result/conclusion] Considering the key elements of the construction mechanism of the digital library mobile visual search, puts forward suggestions from the perspectives of mobile environment hardware and software resource limitations, user demand diversity, mobile user experience quality, interoperability, and collaborative management.
