Digital Cultural Resources Integration in Germany and its Implications:Taking BAM-Portal as an Example

[Purpose/significance] The paper aims to provide reference for China’s integration of digital cultural resources by learning from the successful experience of German’s integration practice.[Method/process] Using methods of literature and web survey, the paper discusses the function and management system of BAM-Portal, and gives a detailed explanation of data exchange format, authority file and search function.[Result/conclusion] The integration of digital cultural resources among library, archive and museum can provide users with diversified and one-stop information service. Proposals are put forward for the integration of digital cultural resources in China from the following aspects: the importance of cultural portal, organization management system, sources of funds, metadata standard and full-text search engine architecture, cooperation with other institutions.
