Abstract

[Purpose/significance]The advertisement is based on the acceptance of audience, so the effect transmitted by the advertisement is worthy of attention. Libraries also need such kind of effect. [Method/process] Through website investigation and literature research, the present situation of the design and service of university library websites were summarized, and the countermeasures were discussed. [Result/conclusion] Due to the negligence of users' need for acceptance to some extent by university library websites of our country, the effectiveness of websites' service is not satisfactory. Endowing university library websites with the idea and quality of modern advertisements could help to improve the service benefit.
