Study on the Coupling Degree Between Public Library and Population Cultural Quality

[Purpose/significance] Studying the coordination degree between public library and population culture quality is important to formulate national harmonious development policies and achieve coordinated development of public libraries and population cultural quality.[Method/process] The article, using the method of coupling degree model, presents a quantitative analysis of the coordination degree between public library and population culture quality in various provinces and cities of China.[Result/conclusion] The results show that the whole development of public library lags behind. Although the values of coupling degree between public library and population culture quality is gradually rising on a whole, its development is slow in some provinces and cities. In spatial distribution, the values of coupling degree between public library and population culture quality is gradually rising by the order of western, central, northeast, eastern areas.
