Research on the Data Quality Control in Scientific Data Publishing

[Purpose/significance] This paper comparatively analyzes the quality control practice of research data used by different types of data publishing, and focuses on the current challenges and responsibilities of the research data's quality controlling to better understand the development trend and characteristics of this process.[Method/process] Based on different kinds of data publishing, this paper selected the typical cases to sum up the evaluation practice, the standards, compared them, and summarized the similarities, differences and problems.[Result/conclusion] There are differences in evaluation methods because of the different ways to display, publish and store data. Most journals do not provide suggestions and requirements related to data evaluation. As a part of the process of data storage, storage, and service development, data repository is focused on the technical aspect. The data periodical has the most detailed review process for data and cooperates with data repository for data acquisition and storage. Along with the development of data publishing organization, the most effective recommendations and practice for data quality control will come out, but the problems of access, data format and evaluation model must be solved.
