An Excellent Work in Scientific Metrology Applications:A Book Review on Scientific Research Evaluation Based on Scientometrics Indicators

[Purpose/significance] A book review on Scientific Research Evaluation Based on Scientometrics Indicators was conducted, aiming at providing a reference for existing scientific evaluation system.[Method/process] Reading the book by details, consulting a lot of relevant literature, the author summarized its characteristics and essence.[Result/conclusion] The book has the characteristics of a complete research system, clear purpose, and research structure, and easily quantifiable indicators. Using scientific metrology indicators and measurement methods to assess scientific and technical journals rating index, has important practical significance for scientific and technical journals to improve running quality and technology departments to develop science and technology policy. The book is a well-deserved empirical research works on scientific metrology research evaluation.
