Research Review on the Digital Resources Description and Semantic Reveal About Intangible Cultural Heritage for Inheritance and Communication

[Purpose/significance] Domestic and international research on the protection of digital resources about intangible cultural heritage in recent years is reviewed. The intension and extension of the theory studying digital resources description and semantic reveal about intangible cultural heritage is further expanded, to provide new way to promote the development of digital technology as well as the heritage and spread of culture in this field in Chinese.[Method/process] Using information space theory, a comprehensive review of digital resources description and semantic reveal is conducted, and the research framework for digital resources description and multi-dimensional semantic reveal about intangible cultural heritage is proposed. Then the focus and the shortcomings of the present study is clarified.[Result/conclusion] The resource description and knowledge transfer about intangible cultural heritage needs a wide range of public participation, which will help to the learn, communicate and innovate the related knowledge for different users, and solute the problem of knowledge transfer and innovation about intangible cultural heritage.
