The Characteristics and Enlightenments of Research Data Service Requirements Identification Model in Foreign High Education Institutions

[Purpose/significance] Taking inspiring research data management of high education institutions(HEIs) as a starting point, this paper introduces and analyses foreign HEIs'research data services requirements identification model and provides reference for the research data services planning of HEIs for our country. [Method/process] This paper uses literature research and case analysis to compare the processes and methods, analyzes the features of research data service requirements identification models and prompts the enlightenment. [Result/conclusion] This research shows that research data services requirements identification of HEIs are divided into two key phrases which are requirements survey and assessment. The model's functions focus on the two key phrasesse parately, the guidance of the models detailed and concrete, and the implement flexible. It recommends that we should choose research projects or research teams as objects, have a good communication with them and give an adjustment according to the situation.
