[Purpose/significance] In order to develop college students' information ability, academic ability and innovation ability, information retrieval education needs breaking through the usual teaching way and reshaping information literacy teaching mode.[Method/process] This paper sorts out the literatures about "MOOC" curriculum and "flipped classroom" related to the information literacy. Then it analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the teaching mode of "MOOC" course and "flipped classroom". On this basis, this paper constructs a teaching mode for information retrieval education.[Result/conclusion] Practice shows that this teaching mode has an positive effect which can effectively improve students' comprehensive information literacy and students' innovative thinking. These provide useful reference for information literacy education.
