[Purpose/significance] This study aims to summarize the patent analysis methods of identifying technology's transfer potential and main influence factors, to provide the theoretical support for effectively identifying patent technology with transfer potential.[Method/process] According to the current situation of patent analysis method in the application of technology transfer, this paper makes the review on the related achievements about the analysis methods of identifying technology's potential transfer and influence indicators affecting technology transfer.[Result/conclusion] The existing analysis methods of identifying the potential of technology transfer mainly include the patent citation analysis, social network analysis, statistical analysis model, binary semantic analysis method and TRIZ method, which are all in the exploring stage. The main influence factor of technology transfer is patent value or patent quality. The future study on analysis methods of identifying patent technology's transfer potential can be carried out in the following directions:systematically exploring the direct influence factors of patent transfer and their actual effect; exploring the difference of patent transfer behaviors between companies and universities; constructing the prediction model for effectively identifying technology's transfer potential.
