[Purpose/significance] Based on the research of information ecology theory, this paper explores the co-evolution of library information ecology circle. On one hand, the research provides theoretical support for the development of information ecology. On the other hand, it provides a new perspective and method for the future development of library information service.[Method/process] Based on the explanation of several ecological theories, the connotation and standard of the co-evolution of the library information ecology circle are summarized. And the conditions, ways and paths of the co-evolution of the library information ecology circle are analyzed to explore its mechanism.[Result/conclusion] The library information ecology circle is a system that can survive and develop with the help of continuous updating and evolution. To study the co-evolution mechanism of the system is the necessity of promoting development of the library.
