Abstract

[Purpose/significance] From the information ecology perspective, this study explains the technological innovation and its genetic make-up at micro-level, and analyzes the internal relations between enterprise information ecology and technological innovation.[Method/process] Using the method of system, this paper analyzes the constituent elements and internal mechanism of enterprise information ecology, and further dissects the influences of elements, equilibrium state and overall operation of enterprise information ecology on technological innovation.[Result/conclusion] Technological innovation is a process of a series of information activities, including information collection, processing, transmission and conversion. The enterprises information ecology provides it with subject, object and environment. Its equilibrium state influences the technological innovation performance. Information human's activities affect gene heredity and variation of technological innovation, and determine its evolutionary patterns. In addition, enterprise information ecology and technology innovation can interact on each other, and there is a co-evolution relationship between them.
