Abstract

[Purpose/significance] This paper aims at analyzing the strategy management patterns of foreign library alliance, to provide the reference for strategic management of Chinese library alliance.[Method/process] It analyzes the strategic management files of 70 library alliances abroad, and summarizes their strategic management mode from the aspects of formation, content and implementation.[Result/conclusion] The formation mode mainly includes organization construction, background analysis, principle making, file adjustment and coordinated management. The content mode includes objective, goal, value, subject and mission. The implementation model is divided into established team, make plan, writing reports, evaluation and feedback. These alliances all focus on the organization and management, have the complete plans, emphasize the cost-efficient, and actively participate.
