Research on the Models of Government Purchases of Library Public Services

[Purpose/significance] Combined with the domestic practice cases, this paper analyzed the realistic foundation and modes of government purchase of library public services, providing guidance and reference for government purchase of library public services of China.[Method/process] Combined with related research results, the domestic practice cases of government purchase of library public services were deeply analyzed by documentary method and online research method.[Result/conclusion] In the aspects of social needs, policies, regulations and theoretical support, government purchase of library public services have obtained some realistic foundation. Its purchase modes include purchase subject, undertake subject, purchase content, purchase mechanism, funds management and performance management. The improvement of service quality of government purchase need suitable social force, perfect regulation and assessment mechanism, flexible purchase mode and variable government function.
