Study on Evaluation Mechanism of Reading Promotion in Academic Library

[Purpose/significance] Through studying the establishment and improvement of evaluation mechanism of reading promotion work in academic library, and standardizing the related work details, it improves the quality and efficiency of reading promotion activities. [Method/process] It uses the network research method and literature research method to analyze a large number of university library reading promotion cases and related work, and combs the key elements of reading promotion evaluation mechanism. [Result/conclusion] The implementation of the pre assessment mechanism can well guarantee the quality of the reading promotion, as well as allocate the resources reasonably. Collection and analysis of evaluation criteria and basic data can be the important basis for promotion of reading, and the implementation of archiving activities, performance evaluation and incentive system will further improve the evaluation mechanism. Evaluation mechanisms can greatly improve the current library reading promotion activities in pain points, which makes the librarian passionate to plan and organize activities, and readers enthusiastic to participate in feedback. Reading promotion will get twice the result with half the effort in positive cycle.
