Study on Research Focus and Progress of Data Curation Platform in China

[Purpose/significance] Based on research papers relevant to data curation platforms in our country, this paper gives a review on the research status and hot topics in this area, points out the weakness of current research, and proposes some suggestions to the development of domestic data curation platforms. [Method/process] Based on 63 domestic research papers and dissertations (2011/01-2016/06) on data curation platforms collected from CNKI and VIP Chinese Journals, we investigate the research topics using comparative and inductive research method and compare representative data curation platforms through literature survey and network survey. [Result/conclusion] The research results include:① Domestic research on data curation platforms has grown rapidly since 2011 and focuses on four aspects:theoretical frameworks on data curation platform, scientific data organization, scientific data integration, development and implementation of data curation platforms; ② There are still some shortcomings in the research on domestic data curation platforms, and further studies should focus on data curation platform frameworks and their functional modules, data semantic annotation, data integration and unified search, data service modes and so on.
