Abstract

[Purpose/significance] Privacy paradox in the context of social network sites (SNS) refers to the gap between people's privacy attitude and privacy behavior, which is closely related to the development of SNS. By combing the related foreign literature, this paper aims to help the domestic scholars to understand the causes of this problem, and provide them with ideas for solving it, so as to provide reference for future domestic research in this field. [Method/process] This paper, by means of literature research and content analysis method, reviews the research of foreign scholars. [Result/conclusion] And on this basis, this paper defines the concept of privacy paradox, analyzes the causes of this problem from five main aspects, and introduces the legal, technical and social ways to deal with this problem. Finally, this paper puts forward three suggestions for the follow-up study.
