An Investigation and Analysis of the Collection Development Policy of Foreign Financial and Economics University Libraries

[Purpose/significance] This paper analyzes the status quo of collection development policy in some foreign financial academic libraries, and provides references for us. [Method/process] The sample objects were selected based on the QS World University Rankings. And the content of the collections development policies were obtained and analyzed by accessing their library website. [Result/conclusion] It summarizes the characteristics of the collection development policy of foreign academic libraries of finance and economics, points out its shortcomings, and puts forward the experiences about collection construction and collection development policy that can provide reference for us.
