Evolution and Development of Information Management: from Data Management to Wisdom Management

[Purpose/significance] The paper clarifies the evolution and development of information management mode, expounds basic connotation of wisdom management and operational mechanism,solves the problems of knowledge management,studies the development trend of knowledge management and improves the efficiency of information management.[Method/process] Data,information,knowledge and wisdom are main research object of information science,which have progressive and parallel relations between them by definition. The paper analyses data management,information management,knowledge management and the relationship between them. This paper expounds the concept,connotation and operation mechanism of wisdom management,especially its return of management object,promotion of position,precision of content,multiple purpose,small organization and intelligent technology. [Result/conclusion] Wisdom management is the inevitable result adapting to the development of wisdom society and to new growth point of information science.
