Organic Integration of Exhibition Space in Library Polysemy Space

[Purpose/significance] The purpose of this paper is to study the creative design and the implementation plan on combining the functional exhibition in the library's polysemy space, based on the actual practice in Tsien Hsueshen Library of Xi'an Jiaotong University. It aims to provide reference and experience for the reconstruction and layout of university libraries in China. [Method/process] A Case analysis method is used to analyze the design idea and process of Tsien Hsueshen's Scientific Spirit and Educational Thought Exhibition in Tsien Hsueshen's library space, and summarize its organic integration with the positioning, structure and function of library space. [Result/conclusion] Through the in-depth exploration and effective reorganization of the original spatial resources of the library, the organic integration of the function of exhibition and the library's polysemy space is realized. It supports more extensive academic exchanges and cultural activities and effectively promotes the transformation of library services and space reform.
