Talent Assessment Services: the Implementation Strategy of University Library Service Transformation

[Purpose/significance] Talent evaluation service based on academic achievements could be a new direction of the university library service transformation and development. Through the discussion of the methods and achievements of the auxiliary talents evaluation of the university library, the paper could promotethe popularization and development of the service, and could provide method reference for the university library to carry out similar service. [Method/process] In this paper, we use the case analysis method, analyze Shanghai Jiao Tong University Library's service practice, and focus on the propulsion locus, transformation of index system, the key problems, thought process and solutions. [Result/conclusion] It summarizes the general fitness problems which need to be continue thinking:how to combine the demand driven and demand traction, and promote the sustainable development of the service; step by step, promote the service scope according to the staffing and process control; follow up the new ideas and progress of science and technology evaluation, and persistent thinking about the best combination of theory and practice constantly.
