Abstract

[Purpose/significance] In the micro media era, the university library reading promotion work is facing new opportunities and challenges. How to promote the effective integration of micro media platform and reading, and create a micro space to promote reading, has become a new topic for university libraries.[Method/process] The paper analyzed the related concepts, characteristics and composition of elements and the development analysis of micro media reading promotion, discussed the micro media reading promotion practice with the Shenyang Normal University library, and other related practice, and put forward sustainable development strategies to promote micro media reading activities in university libraries.[Result/conclusion] The university library micro media reading promotion should break the barriers, focus on micro platform, micro context, micro interaction and micro service, insist de-massed promotion strategy, launch interactive reading promotion, propose to create micro media reading promotion matrix from the dimensions of space, content,user and function,to build and improve the campus reading ecosystem.
