The Enlightenment of Research Data Services in European Academic Research Librariesto Chinese University Libraries

[Purpose/significance] Management of research data is increasingly seen as an important role for academic libraries and university libraries.[Method/process] This paper analyzed Research Data Services in European Academic Research Libraries which was published in December of 2016 from many aspects such as the types of research data services, library director opinions and staff training, collaboration and disciplines.[Result/conclusion] With reference to the relevant theoretical research achievement, it concludes the factors and process of the research data service and gives suggestions for the research data service in China from the development of RDS internal factors, the management of the process of library collaboration and the choice of service types.
