[Purpose/significance] This paper constructs the evaluation index system of library crisis management abilities in order to provide reference for the evaluation of library crisis management abilities. [Method/process] On the basis of theoretical analysis, this paper puts forward the initial evaluation index system of library crisis management abilities, uses the Delphi method to amend the relevant indicators, and determines the final evaluation index system of library crisis management abilities.[Result/conclusion] The evaluation index system of library crisis management abilities consists of 3 first level indicators, 9 second level indicators and 29 third level indicators. The function expression of library crisis management abilities can be constructed by use of the 29 third level indicators and synthetic weights, and its number can be calculated.
