Abstract

[Purpose/significance] This study aims to explore the influence factors of information avoidance behavior in pregnant women to construct a conceptual model of influence factors, and provide theoretical support for pregnant women. [Method/process] 25 pregnant women were selected as the research samples, 5 of which were tested for the theoretical saturation. Semi-structured interviews and the critical incident method were used to collect data. The information avoidance behavior in pregnant women and its influence factors were coded, and a modelabout influence factorsfor information avoidance behavior in pregnant women was constructed according to the Wilson's information behavior model. [Result/conclusion] Personal factors, environmental factors and information factors have certain influence on pregnant women's information avoidance behavior. Users' general information behavior model should highlight the status of information avoidance.
