[Purpose/significance] E-resource usage statistical systems based on local measurement method try to solve the problems of reliability, statistical granularity and statistical scope of the usage data from content providers. To classify, compare and evaluate these systems will help librarians understand the technical differences and application scenarios, and decide on an appropriate implementation plan.[Method/process] The methods of literature review and comparative analysis are employed to classify the typical systems based on related literature, and to compare and evaluate the architecture, ability and deployment conditions of these systems.[Result/conclusion] The study shows in-line system is superior to the bypass monitor system in data collection ability and intervention ability, but the latter is easier to deploy. Mobile application access statistics, data reliability, standardization of reports and user privacy protection are common problems of the existing systems, but they are also the driving force for the system development.
