[Purpose/significance] In the e-Science research environment, the embedded knowledge service develops new patterns of library personalized services. This paper explains the coupling mechanism of the embedded knowledge service and the library knowledge transfer.[Method/process] Based on the embedded knowledge service theory and the knowledge transfer theory, this paper built a theoretical framework about the library knowledge transfer in the scientific research field and a system dynamic model based on this theoretical framework to carry on the simulation and sensitivity analysis.[Result/conclusion] The result shows that this model can explain the dynamic evolutionary relationship between libraries and scientific research teams in the embedded knowledge service environment. Finally, we put forward optimizing strategies for realistic application.
