Research on Model Reconstruction and Application of Transformation Theory in Information Science

Abstract

[Purpose/significance] This paper reconstructed the model of transformation theory in information science, and explored the rules of coupling and evolution between elements of transformation model, aiming to improve and expand transformation theory and its application.[Method/process] This paper redefined the five elements of data, information, knowledge, intelligence and wisdom by using literature research method and content analysis method, and constructed a more complete spiral transformation model based on the existing transformation model.[Result/conclusion] By constructing the spiral transformation model, not only the conversion process and methods of model-related elements can be clearly defined, but also the application of transformation theory can be covered in the fields of think tank construction, smart city and competitive intelligence.
