[Purpose/significance] In view of the problems existing in today's library science research, this paper proposes to carry out library science research by means of normative questionnaire survey.[Method/process] Based on the "D-7 method" research framework in the field of community informatics, combined with the specific example of the "Librarian Stereotype" project, this paper presents the specific operation process of normative questionnaire survey in each link of empirical research, and explains the application skills and precautions.[Result/conclusion] Using "D-7 method" can effectively standardize and promote the practical operation of empirical research. The development direction of library science should be the standardization of research methods and the universal use of analytical tools. The advantages and characteristics of the normative questionnaire survey method meet the requirements of the development of library science research and can be further popularized and popularized.
