Abstract

[Purpose/significance] By summarizing the research results of open sharing of scientific data across the world, this paper provides a reference for promoting the development of relevant theoretical research and practice in China.[Method/process] By using text content analysis method, this paper analyzes the research progress across the world from seven aspects:open sharing policies of scientific data, platforms and projects, benefits and obstacles, mechanisms and models, stakeholder roles and responsibilities, applications and investigations, andstrategies and suggestions.[Result/conclusion] At present, the topic of open sharing of scientific data has been extensively explored across the world, especially on policies and platforms of open sharing of scientific data, mechanisms and modes, benefits and obstacles, and so on. But on the whole, it is still in its infancy, so it is necessary to improve the research level of open sharing of scientific data from the aspects of distinguishing between the concept and behavior of open sharing of scientific data and sharing of scientific data effectively, establishing and perfecting the mechanism of open sharing of scientific data and strengthening the investigation and analysis of the practice of open sharing of scientific data.
