Abstract

[Purpose/significance] Analyzing the research status and development trend of exploratory search to promote academic innovation and application innovation in the field of exploratory search.[Method/process] This paper used the literature review method and comparative analysis method to introduce the research situation of exploratory search at home and abroad from the aspects of conceptual research, theoretical research and process research of exploratory search, and reviewed it from three dimensions:research purpose, research content and research method, including the influencing factors of exploratory search, the optimization of search results and the construction of exploratory search system research, on the basis of this, the research trend of exploratory search was prospected.[Result/conclusion] In the big data environment, exploratory search will develop along the direction of multi-technology integration and cross-device search. In terms of research methods, combined with quantitative and qualitative hybrid research methods has become the mainstream; in the research content, multi-technology and cross-device exploratory search, exploratory search learning mechanism research and collaborative exploratory search are hot topics with great research value in the future.
