[Purpose/significance] In the process of accelerating the new urbanization strategy in China, it is of great significance to analyze the information behavior characteristics and evolution of migrant workers, so as to realize accurate information poverty alleviation and analyze the information needs of migrant workers in the new urbanization process.[Method/process] Based on defining the migrant workers, on the basis of using the Python language and Xpath with the baidu post bar workers data, using Jieba library to realize participle operation according to the two dimensions of time and content to the data visualization research, online information sharing for the migrant workers group behavior characteristics and evolution were analyzed.[Result/conclusion] The research conclusion reveals that in the process of new urbanization in China, the alienation degree of the acquired content in the online information acquisition behavior of migrant workers continues to deepen, and the level of demand continues to improve. The time feature of online information release behavior is policy-oriented. The urbanization strategy issued by the government, supporting the return of migrant workers to their hometowns, protecting the rights and interests of migrant workers and other policies have an important impact on the evolution of farmers' information behavior. The theme features of online information sharing are diversified.
