Abstract

[Purpose/significance] To take deep insight into collaborative information search behavior, which will provide reference and enlightenment for the construction and optimization of professional collaborative information search platform. [Method/process] This paper focused on information search behavior of the learning team. Taking university students as research samples, shared mental model was used as breakthrough point, grounded theory method was applied to collect data, and the shared mental model construction process of collaborative information search team was detected. [Result/conclusion] Four core interlinked elements were identified, which include individual perception and exploration, team task analysis, team information collection and team decision making. The cognitive activities and shared mental model contents of each element were also clarified.
