[Purpose/significance] Mr. Jing Jipeng is an expert in the field of information science in China. His ideology is broad, and he has published vast quantity of works to his credit. Combing and seeing through his vision for thinking will help inspire the juniors, and also promote the steady progress and innovative development of information science research.[Method/process] By means of interview and literature research, this paper studied and sorted out Mr. Jing jipeng's academic research results and management practice. Finally, from the four aspects of scholarship, education, management and running the journal, this paper summarized and discussed the ideological contributions of Mr. Jing jipeng.[Result/conclusion] Mr. Jing's four perspectives reflected the rich philosophical thinking of organic holistic view, sustainable development view, scientific view, practice view, syncretic view, systemic view, historical view and role view. This is of great significance for related research.
