Abstract

[Purpose/significance] Reviewing the research progress of music information seeking is helpful to clarify the characteristics and influencing mechanism of music information seeking, which can lay a foundation for research of non-strictly rational leisure information seeking such as leisure reading and video search, and provide evidence for the construction of personalized music platform. [Method/process] According to the basic analysis framework of "internal demand → influence mechanism → process strategy → technology trend", literature review was conducted from 4 aspects:researches on music information demand, researches on influencing factors of music information seeking, researches on process of music information seeking and researches on technology of music search. [Result/conclusion] In the current research, there are some core problems, for example, the researches on user satisfaction of human-computer interaction are few and the theories and application researches related to music information encounter are not found. The following directions deserve attention in future researches:By integrating interventional research and the unobtrusive research paradigms, the researches will actively explore the problem of human-computer interaction user satisfaction to strengthen the process-oriented user experience; on the basis of S-O-R and other theories, by measuring the specific physical or emotional responses of users in the process of music information seeking, the researches will actively explore the occurrence mechanism and performance of music information encounter; on the basis of tasks, situations, tools and other dimensions, the researches will blend the gamification elements into the online music platform design to stimulate the generation of music information encounter.
