[Purpose/significance] The library's online book rafting services can not only break various limitations comparing to traditional services, but use the idle book resources in the society properly, and also be able to solve many problems existing in domestic book rafting activities or platforms.[Method/process] This paper introduced the "book to book" online book rafting platform led by the Jinan Library in detail as follows: background, main body and parent platform, functions, usage methods, rules, operation, funding support, awards, user evaluation, etc. At the same time, it analyzed the advantages of the platform compared to existing book rafting activities or platforms in China, and shortcomings of the platform.[Result/conclusion] On the basis of learning from the experience of "Book to Book" platform, the following points should be done well in carrying out online book drifting service in library: achieving multi-entrance operations,attaching importance to book traceability,improving social services,building a national brand. But it should be optimized and improved in the following aspects: achieving multi entry operation, enhancing book traceability, promoting social services, expanding service scope, etc.
