[Purpose/significance] Aiming at the quantification of double-base and multi-base indicators of content quality of foreign journal database, a multi-base comparison algorithm based on unified journal space is proposed, which realizes the journal identification and comparison between arbitrary multi-bases, and improves the quantification accuracy of these indicators.[Method/process] On the basis of analyzing the content and complexity of the content quality indicators of foreign journal databases, this paper designed a multi-database comparison algorithm based on unified journal space, and used this algorithm to calculate the number of JCR journals and the number of unique journals of 57 databases in DRAA in 2018, as a verification of the validity and accuracy of the algorithm.[Result/conclusion] As an extension study of various electronic resource evaluation indicator systems, this study can help libraries optimize their collection construction and make the purchase of foreign journal databases more economical and reasonable.
