[Purpose/significance] Try to clarify the theoretical connotation, time value and development path of the integration of cultural and tourism in public libraries, providing a certain reference for promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the integration of cultural and tourism in public libraries. [Method/process] It closely integrated the related theories and practices of cultural tourism integration and global tourism through literature research, network research, case analysis and field research. It rationalized the theoretical connotation of the integration of culture and tourism in the public libraries, distinguished its time value, explained its development path and expanded the research horizon of the integration of cultural and tourism in public libraries. [Result/conclusion] The long-term development of the integration of cultural and tourism in public libraries in the future can be achieved by cultivating a demonstration library for the integration of cultural and tourism, improving the regional linkage mechanism for the integration of cultural and tourism in public libraries, and constructing a comprehensive development pattern for the integration of cultural and tourism in public libraries.
