New Think Tanks with Chinese Characteristics: Appearance Logic, Operation Mechanism and Basic Paradigm

Abstract

[Purpose/significance] There are few researches on meta-theoretical issues such as appearance logic, operation mechanism and basic paradigm of new think tanks with Chinese characteristics in academic circles, so it has strong originality and knowledge contribution to carry out this research. [Method/process] Comprehensive application of knowledge sociology, knowledge politics, management science and Marxist principle knowledge, explains the theoretical logic, time logic, value logic, related operation mechanism and paradigm characteristics of new think tanks with Chinese characteristics. [Result/conclusion] The new type of think tank with Chinese characteristics appears in the specific background of the transformation of knowledge production mode, the renewal of the era context and the value expression of "people-centered" and "a community with a shared future for mankind"; Its practical operation takes knowledge as its essence and core power, and is driven by the dynamic complementarity of knowledge and power and the coupling of knowledge and capital.The new type of think tank with Chinese characteristics enriches and expands the connotation of contemporary think tanks from the perspectives of the dual context of time and space, the two-way dimension of commonality and individuality, and the interactive relationship with governance modernization, forming the preliminary outline and basic paradigm of Chinese think tanks in the new era.
