[Purpose/significance] A government open data faceted system and a government open data faceted search model for faceted search are constructed to optimize user experience.[Method/process] Based on the characteristics of government open data, a faceted system was constructed. On this basis, a faceted search model of government open data was constructed, and the prototype system was implemented to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of the model.[Result/conclusion] The realization of the prototype system proves that the constructed government open data facet system can effectively help users to explore and screen search results. The proposed faceted search system model has a good user experience, which is convenient to use and can avoid the problem of information overload.
